Color
Latino began its music career on July 20, 2003, at “the Latin
Fiesta Festival,” Durham, NC. This event was of such great impact
that it brought lots of contracts and invitations to perform
on future events.
One
of them was “Cuban
Cool,” which
took place in the North
Carolina Museum of Art,
in Raleigh, NC on August 28, 2003. They played a great variety
of genre such as salsa, merengue, bosanova, jazz, reggae, cumbia,
mambo and bachata. This was a memorable night where the rhythm
of the music was so delightful, the harmony was so perfect, the
tuning of 4-40, and the atmosphere among the members of the band was
so unisonous, that
there was not a soul that couldn’t yield itself to its
beat. It was very gratifying to contemplate how the objective
of the group was being carried out.
